Ink Fix #4 comes hot on the heels of the floral box for Spring; celebrating that weird part of the year where the North American media monopoly is yelling FALL! HALLOWEEN! AUTUMN! at us, while us Southern Hemisphere folks shake our heads, make a cup of tea, and watch as nature does her thing.
The fourth box was themed for the world’s favourite hot drink, and we hope it’s your cup of tea!
Featured inks in Ink Fix #4 were (from top to bottom in the above picture):
Ferris Wheel Press Lady Rose / Thé à la Rose
Pastel pink with nuanced shading
Diamine Earl Grey
A high-shading grey ink with purple and blue undertones
Robert Oster Melon Tea
A deceptively charming brown ink with a hint of green
Troublemaker Inks Kelp Tea
A pastel yellow-green that shades into pink and brown
Taccia Cha Brown
Rich reddish-brown with a bold shade
Birmingham Pen Company Rodman Gun Gunpowder Tea
Bright, shading green-yellow
PenBBS #257 Red Tea Latte
A pigment ink that lays down a seamless brown-red
What better way to spend time than by brewing a hot cup of tea and sitting down with a freshly-inked pen and some blank paper? Max was looking for an excuse to go wild at T2 anyway, so a whole lot of individual sachets in a dozen or so flavours were maniacally thrown into a basket carefully selected to share.
