There is a small, but thriving fountain pen enthusiast community in Australia and New Zealand. We may not have the numbers of our American counterparts, but we’re just as passionate about pens and ink and paper.
There are some amazing online shops around the world. Thankfully, many of them ship all the way down to the antipodes– but postage is a killer. Sometimes we pay up to four times the cost of a product, just in postage! And the wait time can be agonizing… if the parcel ever arrives at all.
Fountain Pen Supplies was born in Melbourne, Australia in an attempt to create a local source of common fountain pen needs in order to minimise postage costs and wait times for the Australian and New Zealand penthusiast. The business has since had a treechange to Central Victoria but we will work hard to keep up the service to you, our fab customers!
We’re under-served – not undeserving!
We’re currently only focused on the Australian and New Zealand markets. When we grow enough to be able to negotiate competitive shipping prices, we’d love to expand and serve the entire Oceania region.
