The short answer is… yes!
For starters, the price. The main collection A5 hardcover notebook in dot grid retails for AUD $34.95. The limited edition A5 hardcover notebook in dot grid retails for AUD $37.95. That averages to 14c per page for the main, and 15c per page for the limited.
Where the main collection notebooks have 249 pages, the limited editions have 251 pages. Of those pages, the main collection has 8 perforated pages at the end of the notebook. The limited edition has 12. Though only 2 pages difference, the limited edition clocks in at 2mm thicker overall.
The limited edition notebooks get a small style update with a clean, futuristic sans serif font. The main collection retains the old-school serif styling. This extends to the page numbers, the index pages, the title page, and the stickers.
Speaking of, the limited edition has only 2 index pages, compared to the main collection’s 3.
Also, the archiving stickers are embossed with metallic foil matching the limited edition’s cover, rather than the soft grey ink of the main collection.
Where it counts though, the notebooks are the same: same quality paper, same quality construction, and same pleasure to use.
