Fanyantan 辛丑【2021限定色墨水】 Xīn chǒu (2021 limited color ink) is a curious ink that changes colour whilst writing, to a different colour on different papers. Initially a brownish-grey, the final colour varies from green to grey to purple.
The limited edition Year of the Ox ink comes in a padded tin with removable lid. Due to the soft nature of the metal, some dents and dings to the box are unavoidable, however, the ink inside is well-protected.
The dye in this ink sometimes precipitates out of solution. Shake before use.
