Say goodbye to crooked lines in your plain notebooks or on your fancy letter paper. This double-sided undersheet (also known as a pencil board, shitajiki or 下敷き to stationery enthusiasts and collectors) has a 5mm squared grid on one side and 7mm ruled lines on the reverse (Weeks size has traceable hand-drawn banners on the reverse instead of ruled lines). The corners are rounded to prevent accidental paper tears and small but painful finger-stabs.

Even if you don’t need guidelines to write neatly, a solid surface can be a useful way to prevent indenting the pages underneath the one you’re using.

Writing, planning and organising can sometimes be a messy process, so this high-quality cardstock has been laminated with plastic in order to keep it clean. Any ink or paint spills will just wipe right off! An added bonus is that it can be used as a blending sheet for popular art markers such as Tombow Dual Brush. It also makes an ideal washi tape card; just wrap the tape around the non-stick laminate surface and peel off when you’re ready!
