Ammoniated pen flush for cleaning fountain pens.

Here’s how we use it:

Decant a bit into an ink sample vial, and put the bottle away.
Use a bulb syringe to push the flush through the pen section.
Catch the used flush in the sample vial.
Reuse the used flush until it’s time to repeat step 1!

125mL bottles are now recyclable BPA-free amber PET bottles. The formula inside is exactly the same!

[Ingredients: Distilled water, ammonium hydroxide, biodegradable surfactant]
Most of the time a good rinse with water will clean out a pen as much as you need. However, sometimes a little something extra is needed– we’ve come up with a mild ammoniated pen flush that should dislodge any oils or ink residue that just plain water won’t budge. You can reuse this solution multiple times, as the basic (as in, opposite of acidic) nature of the solution is an effective antimicrobial agent.

CAUTION: Not to be ingested. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with bleach. Do not soak aluminum or casein parts.
